EmberVision: Visual early Fire-detection sensor with Machine Learning on Microcontrollers
EmberVision is a low-cost, vision-based fire and smoke sensor using machine learning for early detection. The sensor achieved 90.5% accuracy with a custom PCB module consuming only 65mA, demonstrating the feasibility of inexpensive visual early fire detection.
